Naima is a Brazilian artist focused in graphic design and hand-made projects. She sees design as a weft where creative areas intertwine. Not trying to define the limits between design and art, manual and digital, but appreciating the free flow between these areas and different medias in search of a satisfying outcome in every project.
Her works is often a bold, graphic and colorful explosion. There is a clear care in the details and color relations. It can be seen in her current acrylic work or with felt, where she makes big compositions with hundred felt pieces embedded, overlapping and glued one by one.
Naima's work has been awarded at D&AD (London), Clio (New York), Ibero-American Design Biennial (Madrid), Latin America Design Award (Peru), among others, and has developed work for clients such as Washington Post, TimeOut New York and Instagram
