MULTI DIMENSION OF COLOURS, SHAPES AND ORGANIC COMPOSITIONS
The ludic lllustrations that express elements of nature and have an exotic and full of life force, are works of the talented artist William Santiago. Born in Londrina, a small city in the south of Brazil, William graduated in Graphic Design and began his career working with fashion, which enabled him to work with different brands and improve his personal work. Today, with his own illustration studio, his work is focused on editorials, fashion advertising and independent creations. He already illustrated main magazines in Brazil and made partnerships and campaigns for renowned brands such as Natura, Havaianas, Itaú and Farm. Abroad he also worked with the magazines Fast Company, Aquila, Penguin Books, VSCO, Anthropology and Society6. In 2016 he won the Jabuti Prize for Literature, in the category of digital illustration, illustrating the first children's tale by the writer Luis Fernando Verissimo, “The seventh cat”. William mixes manual techniques with digital illustration, his work brings beautiful compositions of colours and textures, with graphic and round forms where elements of the daily life are transformed into a playful and surreal universe loaded with history and rich references of the artist.
